The biggest risk in buying live invertebrates internationally isn't the animals — it's the paperwork. A shipment held at customs is a dead shipment. We are a worldwide exporter first and foremost — with more than 20 years in the trade, this is exactly the part we've made routine.
What we handle on our side
- CITES export permits — for species listed under CITES appendices (EU Annex B and equivalents), we obtain the export permit for your specific shipment. Correct species-level documentation, captive-bred sourcing declared.
- USFWS clearance (USA) — shipments to the United States go through US Fish & Wildlife Service inspection. We prepare the consignment and documentation to pass it.
- Customs brokerage — we work with experienced brokers on live-animal consignments so your shipment clears, not sits.
- Commercial documentation — proforma and commercial invoices, packing lists, and the export declarations your customs authority expects.
What you handle on your side
Some destination countries require an import permit issued to the importing business (you). If your country does, we'll tell you during order confirmation exactly what to request and what details it should reference. If you've never done it before, we'll walk you through it — we ship to the USA and Canada, across Asia and throughout Europe, and we know the drill.
